Change Instrument Roles
An innovative publication based on Eric Gill’s influential manifesto of 1931, ‘An Essay on Typography’ applying the ideas promoted by Brian Eno of disrupting normal patterns of creativity. It presents Gill’s ideas on typography in new ways, subverting the conventions not only of design, layout and type, but the book form itself - the essay is confined to the outer pages and the inner sections contain the key quotes from the source with supportive type and imagery.
