More Than We Can Chew
An examination, inspired by the COVID-19 crisis, of consumer stockpiling and the frantic emptying of supermarket shelves across the world. It highlights the universal responses to unexpected threat where everything becomes suddenly uncertain – fear, greed, selfishness, the survival instinct – and invites a questioning of what that says about humanity in 2021. Using the common theme and image of the individual consumption of shelves-full of products, it is a deliberately provocative and unsettling publication in collage form.
